Use of AHA logos

Guidelines for Use of the AHA logos and NHRA Logos By Members

Life, Fellow, Clinical and Professional Members may use the AHA and NHRA logos and AHA and NHRA names in advertising and on their business cards as long as it also shows their membership number under the logos. (For example CM123456.)

Associate members may use the AHA logo but not the NHRA logo as they do not qualify for listing on the National Register.

Student and affiliate members may not use the logos or AHA name.

The AHA and NHRA logos must be used “stand-alone” and may not be incorporated as a part of any other artwork.

The AHA and NHRA Logos or Names must not be used for any therapy for which a member is not AHA or NHRA accredited. For example a member must not use lines such as ‘AHA / NHRA accredited in Hypnotherapy and Reiki, etc. As this gives the impression that the member is also accredited with the AHA / NHRA for Reiki, which is not a modality covered by the AHA / NHRA.

Members are also warned to be careful of the wording in their advertising so as not to breach any state or federal legislation. For example members must not claim cures for certain diseases such as diabetes, cancer, HIV-AIDS etc.
