Make an ethical grievance or complaint
If you have concerns that your hypnotherapist may have acted unethically in the provision of therapy services, you have the right to make a complaint.
If you have concerns about the ethical conduct of a hypnotherapist, we recommend that you download the AHA Code of Ethics and Conduct which sets out the AHA’s standards for ethical practice.

Grievances and complaints to AHA about hypnotherapists
-
The AHA can only hear grievances and complaints against hypnotherapists who are / were current members at the time the service in question was provided.
-
When making a grievance or complaint to AHA, please check that the practitioner you are complaining about is listed on the AHA national register.
-
In most instances, persons wishing to make a complaint will be asked if they have approached the practitioner to resolve the issue. This is encouraged as the logical first step to resolution if it is possible.
-
The complaints form can be found on this web page.
-
