What I love about hypnotherapy is that it is a client and therapist collaboration. The client will come with an issue that we discuss and come up with a sustainable plan to move forward. Then in hypnosis I reinforce the plan. Hypnosis is not like in the movies or on stage. Through the gently and transformative power of hypnosis, I guide the client to relax, explore and release old patterns of behaviour that no longer serve them. My approach is holistic, focusing on mind-body connection to facilitate lasting change. I work with my client and find out what really matters to them. What are their values and what boundaries they have in place. With a clear picture of what is important to the client. The client can make good decisions. Watching the client come out of hypnosis and say I feel so relaxed and they have clear direction is a great feeling.
